“But Lord,” Gideon replied, “how can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest in the whole tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least in my entire family!” The Lord said to him, “I will be with you. And you will destroy the Midianites as if you were fighting against one man.” Judges 6:15-16 NLT

I will be with you. Gideon asked, how can I rescue Israel, I am weakest in my whole tribe. God said, I will be with you. I will be your strength and you will destroy the Midianites/Your enemy. You will fight an army as though it were one man. In relationship with Me, you will destroy every enemy that gathers together against you. My strength is made perfect in your weakness. When you are weak, then I Am strong. God called Gideon, not just to win, gain victory over his fear, his strongholds but for an entire people. God chose Gideon to destroy generational curses and fight for the next generation, the children. God told Gideon, in your eyes you are least, in My eyes you are unstoppable. I will break every stronghold that hinders you from fulfilling your purpose. No longer will you hide or search for excuses to fight the good fight of faith. The enemy that robbed you will be destroyed. The thief comes to kill, steal and destroy but I am come that you have life. God wants relationship with us that He might be glorified. When we have relationship, we become one with Him, we know Him and He knows us. In Him, we come out of the cave of inferiority, the cave of low self esteem, the cave guilt and shame. We stand in the confidence of who we are in Christ, victorious, overcomer, more than conqueror. God wants to set us free, but we must come out of hiding and walk with God!
